The past week or so has given conservatives a VIP tour through the corrupt bowels of the
alliance between the establishment media and Deep State operators, such as Dr. Anthony Fauci and various intelligence officials, whose evasions and outright lies have kept Americans in the dark about who was responsible for the devastation wrought by the COVID pandemic.
The vehicle for this tour through Washington’s sewers is the mainstreaming of the “debate” over the “lab leak” origins of the COVID-19 virus that sparked a worldwide economic disaster and killed unknown thousands of people – we say unknown because we have no way of verifying how many Chinese died and the death count in America has been so politicized that even gunshot victims were classified as COVID deaths in a concerted effort to inflate the death toll and hurt Donald Trump’s reelection chances.
So, while the debate over the “lab leak theory” is suddenly new to viewers of CNN, MSNBC and subscribers to the New York Times and Washington Post, from the beginning there has been no debate on this among honest intelligence professionals and Communist China watchers.
The debate there has been, was the “lab leak” an accident or intentional, and once the virus was outside the lab, were the actions of the Chinese Communist government incompetent or intended to spread the virus and maximize the damage to the West?
As we pointed out in our April 3, 2020 article “Left Moving From Proof Of Concept To Execution On Plan To Bring Down America” the COVID pandemic provided a near-perfect proof of concept to the Chinese Communists on how to conduct a stealth bio-warfare attack on the West.
And we don’t need to read the minutes of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee to know the COVID virus was engineered – we now have Dr. Fauci’s email to prove it.
What’s more, it is clear the evidence the virus was engineered was known and discussed on the inside but kept from the public through evasion and outright lies and suppression of the information by the establishment news media and social media platforms.

And so was the fact that Fauci and other American officials were well aware of the “gain of function” research going on at the Wuhan lab, because they funded it.
But they said nothing when the virus started killing their fellow Americans.
Here’s the bottom line: What the establishment media and establishment politicians have failed or more likely refused to admit publicly is that the Chinese Communist regime runs a sophisticated offensive biological weapons program and that’s where the COVID-19 virus was born.
As our friend former CIA operator Clare Lopez pointed out in “Made in China” the Communist Chinese were not just looking for prophylactic drugs or vaccines to counter existing virus pathogens either.
No, in the lab, they deliberately created new viruses by combining genetic material from pre-existing viruses in ways that scientist Kristian Anderson told Fauci are extremely unlikely to happen naturally—even by way of the typically active mutations that occur with RNA (ribonucleic acid) viruses like coronaviruses.
Citing research by a terrific young journalist at The Epoch Times named Joshua Philipp in his documentary film called “Tracking Down the Origin of Wuhan Coronavirus” Ms. Lopez explains this Wuhan coronavirus did not come from bats at Wuhan’s Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market. It came from a Chinese laboratory where researchers deliberately experimented with ways to make both pre-existing and recombinant viruses more communicable and more effective at getting inside human cells.
YouTube apparently took down their version of “Tracking Down the Origin of Wuhan Coronavirus” but you can view it through the Epoch Times TV channel and it is well worth your time to do so.
Mr. Philipp researched a vast amount of openly available information and put together “Tracking Down the Origin of Wuhan Coronavirus” in a way easily accessible to the average viewer. He reports on the names, the labs, the timeline, and the medical science behind it all without overwhelming us with complicated technical jargon.
Senior and internationally well-known Chinese researchers like Shi Zhengli, who worked in the Special Pathogens Lab, were experimenting on how to enhance the capacity of the coronavirus for transmission across species and specifically from animal reservoirs to humans.
Shi Zhengli, widely known as the “bat lady” for her work on the bat coronavirus, has now disappeared but earlier published a number of papers in respected peer-reviewed journals like Nature Medicine. During the Obama administration, the Communist Chinese regime even paid the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to include Shi in a “gain of function” study on the potential for combining existing SARS-CoV genetic material together with the spike protein on the surface of the Chinese horseshoe bat virus in ways that would more readily transmit to and emerge in humans.
Such a synthetic laboratory-created hybrid virus is called a “chimera” noted Ms. Lopez, and was shown to be capable of “robust viral replication both in vitro and in vivo.” The in vivo reference is to mice, which were used to demonstrate the chimera’s deadly capabilities in mammals. What this means is that these researchers created something artificially in the lab that had never existed before and likely never would exist purely in nature.
The University of North Carolina study prior to 2014 had been conducted with funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under the auspices of the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (headed by Dr. Anthony Fauci).
The objective of the study ostensibly was to prepare for possible future virus pandemics. In October 2014, however, HHS advised the University that U.S. Government funding for such “gain of function” research was being “paused” for being too risky.
However, the damage was done, wrote Ms. Lopez. Shi obviously continued the work back home at the Wuhan Institute of Virology because results of that “gain of function” chimera study were published in the December 2015 issue of Nature Medicine. Shi’s name is among the authors. American researchers, including Ralph S. Baric Ph.D., the William R. Kenan, Jr. Distinguished Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, also were named as co-authors of the study.
While Nature Medicine now posts a disclaimer on the December 2015 article that says, “We are aware that this article is being used as the basis for unverified theories that the novel coronavirus causing COVID-19 was engineered. There is no evidence that this is true; scientists believe that an animal is the most likely source of the coronavirus.” The latest revelations put that to lie and the disclaimer should be seen as part of the attempted cover-up.
The revelations about the origin of the COVID virus and the massive cover-up of its links to the Wuhan lab by American government officials and media must not be allowed to fade back into obscurity.
