George Soros, The One-Man Crime Wave

You won’t see this in any establishment media outlet. Indeed, we found it not in an American publication, but the UK’s Daily Mail, which often has better and more insightful reporting on happenings in America than you will find in the Far Left dominated American media.

According to an article by Jennifer Smith, Chief Reporter for DailyMail.Com, billionaire Democrat donor George Soros has bankrolled District Attorneys in America's most crime ravaged cities, where criminals are being allowed to walk out of jail on low cash bonds or aren't even being charged.

Soros, the most prolific Democratic donor, among them is Kim Foxx, the State's Attorney for Cook County, Chicago, where murder is at its highest in nearly 30 years. In 2020, Soros donated $2million to a PAC that backed Foxx in her re-election campaign.

Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón, who is being widely condemned and is facing a recall for not cracking down on shoplifters and violent criminals received at least $2.250 million in support from Soros.

Soros also donated to the campaign of Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, pouring an eye-popping $1.7million into the race.

Soros also backed Loudoun County, Virginia Commonwealth Attorney Buta Biberaj who is at the center of the controversy over the kid glove treatment received by a rapist who victimized two girls in Loudoun County Middle Schools. Biberaj received a $861,039 contribution from the George Soros-funded Justice and Public Safety PAC during her 2019 election and also benefited from over $500,000 spent on materials to damage one of her challengers.

But it is not just in big Democrat-run cities where Soros is doing his destructive work.

Ms. Smith reports in 2016, Soros pumped $3 million into seven local district-attorney campaigns including races in Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico and Texas.

But none of this is really new.

As we explained in our article, “Yes, Soros Is Influencing Your School Board And Local Government Elections,” back in 2015, radio talk show host C.L. Bryant, writing for FreedomWorks, explained why Soros was involved in the obscure Caddo Parish, Louisiana, District Attorney's race this way:

Billionaire George Soros is a social engineer in an age where America is susceptible to "progressivism," a cancer that has always been heavily funded by billionaires like Soros to fundamentally change the justice systems and school systems of our nation thus fundamentally changing America.

This change must take root at the local levels with local pawns put in key elected or appointed offices. What does this mean to the local voter? It means the will of your community at the ballot box can be stymied to the point that local courts and educational boards will not reflect your vote or the character of your community but the will of social engineers like George Soros.

What is most telling about the design of progressivism is that the same tactic they have used to shape a mindset of targeted communities over a 50-year span is now the focus not only on the Black or inner-city communities but also on communities that have areas with possibilities of falling under total federal control. It is time to ask yourself what outside money is causing the surprise candidates and winners in your local elections? WAKE UP!

Fast forward to 2019 and three campaigns in Virginia: Arlington County Commonwealth Attorney, Fairfax County Commonwealth Attorney and Fairfax County School Board.

The Justice and Public Safety PAC donated about $583,000 to Parisa Dehghani-Tafti, a candidate for Arlington County commonwealth’s attorney, and $392,000 to Fairfax County commonwealth’s attorney candidate Steve T. Descano ahead of the Democrat primary.

Parisa Dehghani-Tafti and Steve T. Descano both defeated incumbent Democrats in the June primary with promises to implement Far Left “reforms” in the prosecutor’s office, such as dropping cash bail, ending use of the death penalty and halting prosecutions for marijuana possession.

In other words, the Soros-backed prosecutor candidates run on platforms of not enforcing the law.

The good news is that citizens are waking up to this one-man crime wave and several Soros-backed prosecutors, including Gascón in California and Biberaj and Descano in Virginia are facing recall elections.
