We Endorse Kristina Karamo, Republican candidate for Michigan Secretary of State

In years gone by Kristina Karamo would have been considered an ideal candidate for public office by both political parties. But today, there’s only one party where a brilliant, Christian,

reform-minded outsider candidate is welcome, particularly in Michigan where Democrat corruption is endemic, and that is in the Republican Party.

So, we are honored to endorse principled limited government constitutional conservative Republican Kristina Karamo for Michigan Secretary of State, and to encourage conservatives across the country to get behind her candidacy.

Professor Kristina Karamo is running in the Republican primary for the nomination to take on incumbent Democrat Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson.

Followers of Michigan politics will recall that Democrat Jocelyn Benson is the elections official who issued a memo informing County Clerks to delete some election data even as the Michigan Legislature readied a review of the 2020 election.

And Benson would likely be one of our nominees for worst incumbent state elected official in America, were it not for the fact that she serves alongside Michigan’s Democrat Governor, the incompetent tyrant and hypocrite Gretchen Whitmer.

But the primary reason Benson must be replaced is not her post-Election Day arrogance, it is that she is a walking compendium of election fraud and illegality that contributed to the 2020 presidential election disaster that still haunts our country.

Last year, without legislative approval, Benson made the unilateral decision to mail unsolicited absentee ballot applications to 7.7 million addresses in Michigan, hiding behind the COVID pandemic as an excuse to do what Democrats have been trying to do for decades—normalize no ID mail-in voting.

She was also implicated in the middle of the night ballot dumps that miraculously erased the leads of Republican candidates Donald Trump and John James, and the subsequent cover up of the potentially statewide problems revealed in Antrim County.

Also never adequately explained by Benson was why some election workers at the TCF Center, the site in Detroit where absentee ballots were counted, were told by Chris Thomas, a former state election director brought in to help run the election in Detroit, to "backdate" absentee ballots. In Michigan, only those ballots received by 8 p.m. on Election Day are valid.

The allegation was filed in an affidavit by a Republican lawyer who was a poll challenger at the TCF Center but was subsequently dismissed by Benson.

So, CHQ readers now have a quick overview of why Democrat Jocelyn Benson has to be defeated in her campaign for reelection – but why Kristina Karamo?

Our #1 reason for backing Kristina Karamo is she is a completely fearless truth-teller, a trait that is in desperately short supply in Republican and conservative politics today.

And here’s just one example from her Twitter feed posted after the Kyle Rittenhouse not guilty verdict:

America, do you really believe a child rapist & a wife beater care about police brutality, and the welfare black people? The one guy Rittenhouse shot, raped multiple children. It seems BLM & Antifa recruits violent criminals to burn down cities, and usher in Marxism. #Democrats

Our #2 reason for backing Kristina Karamo for the Republican nomination for Michigan Secretary of State is for an outsider candidate, who has been criticized for never having run a statewide campaign, she’s out-organizing all the more experienced Republican politicians.

According to MLive.com, Karamo’s campaign reports spending $30,765 and has $116,886 in cash on hand as she reported an ending balance of $48,942 on her last report filed.

Karamo was the first to enter the race, others seeking the Republican nomination to challenge incumbent Democrat Benson include some solid Republican elected officials, such as state Rep. Beau LaFave, R-Iron Mountain, Chesterfield Township Clerk Cindy Berry, and Plainfield Township Clerk Cathleen Postumus, but none of them are raising Kristina Karamo’s kind of money or hitting her level of media coverage.

And none of them can boast the firepower Kristina Karamo brings to the race in the form of her first, and biggest endorsement – former President Donald Trump.

In a statement endorsing Kristina Karamo, Trump said, “She is strong on Crime, including the massive Crime of Election Fraud. Kristina will fight for you like no other, and of equal importance, she will fight for justice,” Trump said. “Good luck Kristina, and while you’re at it, check out the Fake Election results that took place in the city of Detroit.”

But defeating the incumbent Democrat won’t be easy. Benson has raised $449,766, exceeding the amounts gathered by the four Republican challengers and MLive.com reports her campaign has spent $42,626.38, mostly on consulting, campaign finance reports show. Benson is left with $1,053,267 in cash on hand.

Which means we conservatives must step up and kickstart Kristina Karamo’s campaign NOW. I’m already in with a donation to Kristina’s campaign and I encourage every CHQ reader to join me by clicking this link and donating TODAY.

PS: This isn’t a paid ad – Kristina Karamo is one of us, a member of the MIGOP State Committee who served on the Black Leadership Committee with Right to Life, so this is the CHQ team personally asking you, our fellow conservatives, to join us in standing for limited government constitutional conservative values and principles by supporting Kristina Karamo for Michigan Secretary of State.
