Based on her record of going soft on child predators and child pornography we had already recommended that conservatives oppose the confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court.
But Judge Brown Jackson’s performance under questioning by Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee during Tuesday’s confirmation hearing has forced us to conclude that Biden has nominated to the Supreme Court someone who is not just unqualified, but a Far Left lunatic.
Sen. Blackburn asked during day 2 of her confirmation hearings whether Judge Brown Jackson could provide a definition of the word “woman.”
“No, I can’t,” Brown Jackson said.
“I’m not a biologist,” she added.
As the Epoch Times reported, Judge Brown Jackson sits on the board of Georgetown Day School, where students as young as 5 are taught they can choose to be a different gender, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) said.
She then asked Brown Jackson if she agreed with the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who said in a decision that “physical differences between men and women are enduring.” Jackson said she could not, because she was not familiar with the case.
After Jackson refused to provide a definition of what a woman is, Blackburn said, “The meaning of the word woman is so unclear and controversial that you cannot give me a definition?”
“In my work as a judge, what I do is I address disputes. If there is a dispute about a definition, people make arguments, and I look at the law, and I decide,” the judge said.
“The fact that you cannot give me a straight answer about something as fundamental as what a woman is underscores the dangers of the kind of progressive education that we are hearing about,” Blackburn said, pointing out that Lia Thomas, a biological male, was permitted to race against women in the national college championships earlier this month, drawing widespread criticism.
At some point non-mentally ill people must stop going along with the charade that individuals suffering from sexual dysmorphia can successfully treat their mental illness by mutilating themselves.
To not do so is to assist in spreading a form of mass psychosis that harms thousands of individuals who have convinced themselves – or been convinced by others whose motives can only be described as evil – that self-mutilation is a form of therapy for their mental illness.
And Judge Brown Jackson has put herself squarely on the side of those promoting this lunacy by pretending that the definition of a “woman” can somehow be made the source of a legal controversy demanding her impartial judgement based on the arguments and evidence put forward in an adversarial proceeding.
This is akin to pretending that if I amputate my cat’s tail and transplant a dog’s tail on to my cat that my cat is now a dog and I should be allowed to enter it into the Westminster Kennel Club’s dog show – and if the Kennel Club objects, I should be allowed to sue and have Judge Brown Jackson adjudicate whether my cat is now a dog.
Judges have a responsibility to impartially adjudicate disputes brought before them, they also have a responsibility to dismiss specious or frivolous lawsuits brought before them. By aligning herself with those who promote the preposterous idea that one can choose one’s sex, and that chromosomal sex is not immutable Judge Brown Jackson has put herself squarely on the side of one of the greatest and most destructive mass delusions mankind has ever suffered. A person propounding such lunacy should not be seated upon the bench of our Nation’s highest court.
