Miffed by drag-queen ‘nuns,’ Clayton Kershaw pushed Dodgers for Christian Faith Day

Victor Morton, The Washington Times
When pitcher Clayton Kershaw learned about his L.A. Dodgers’ honoring the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and their mockery of Jesus and Christianity, he decided to do something about it. As a result, the Dodgers quickly relaunched the Christian Faith and Family Day as a response. Mr. Kershaw announced the relaunch of the Christian promotion, which the Dodgers regularly did before COVID-19, last week on social media and told the Times it was prompted by the team’s planned recognition of the Sisters group.

The Debt-Limit Deal Isn’t Actually That Bad

Scott McKay, The American Spectator
Maybe Kevin McCarthy didn’t maximize the use of his leverage. But I would say he has at least preserved it. And this problem is going to take a long time, and multiple steps before it’s solved. So leverage on the debt limit is the single most important asset the Right has in American politics, and using it without using it up deserves some positive recognition. But what I’ll also say is that Arrington’s budget had better be good. And McCarthy had better have his troops ready for those appropriations fights.

How To Speak Up And Opt Out Of ‘Pride’ Month Activities At Your Child’s School

Peachy Keenan, The Federalist
The historically Catholic Hispanic demographic is not going to protect their own children — they are applauding it instead, or choosing to go along with it in many of the nation's schools. No one is coming to stop this. Your only option is to do what my friend is doing: opt out. Let your own school know you will not allow your child to take part. No child will be left behind as the golden rainbow horde ravages every school in America. Opting out is your only choice — and the only hope for your kids.

'Great American Family' and 'PureFlix' Merge To Expand Wholesome Faith & Family Content

Brittany M. Hughes, MRCTV.org
Faith-based network Great American Family has purchased PureFlix, a Christian streaming service, to further “serve and delight customers in the family and faith categories” and “reach a larger and broader audience." This move is a breath of fresh air for Christianity and conservatism nationwide, considering our options for faith and family-based content from Hollywood are few and far between. As “family-oriented” channels like Hallmark surrender to “wokeness”, GAF preserves tradition and family values.

Massachusetts Public Libraries to Host Virtual Drag Queen Tutorial for Teens

Susan Berry, PhD, The Star News Network
More than 30 Massachusetts public libraries are joining together to host a virtual drag queen event, targeted for teens aged 13-18, in which New England-based drag queen “Giganta Smalls” will teach the young people about the life of a drag performer and help them “pick up some advice on costuming and make-up.” According to a Westhampton Public Library Facebook post for the June 10th event called “Dishing Out Drag with Giganta Smalls,” over 30 Massachusetts public libraries are “co-hosting this PRIDE event.”

Three Years Later, No Justice for BLM Insurrection in D.C.

Julie Kelly, American Greatness
Not only has Graves not charged any suspects involved in the 2020 riots under his watch, but his office also helped negotiate a settlement between the Justice Department and Lafayette Square rioters, who sued the government for violating their civil rights during what Graves called “racial justice demonstrations in Lafayette Square.” The settlement with Black Lives Matter D.C. required Park Police and Secret Service to update their policies to protect those who “peacefully exercise their First Amendment rights.”

Trump, DeSantis, and the Dangers of Blind Loyalty

David Catron, The American Spectator
Trump deserves loyalty. He was an excellent president, despite the perfidy of the deep state, the machinations of the Democrats, and the mendacity of the media. Yet, as DeSantis frequently says, “There is no substitute for victory.” In 2024, we have a country to save. Any Republican who fails to vote simply because his candidate didn’t win the GOP presidential nomination is, for all intents and purposes, voting for Joe Biden and the corrupt regime he “leads.” Does anyone reading this really want that on his conscience?

Ohio U.S. Senator JD Vance: New Debt Limit Deal is Bad News

Hannah Poling, The Star News Network
U.S. Senator JD Vance (R-OH) claims that the new debt limit deal between House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA-20) and President Joe Biden is “bad news.” The deal, struck by Speaker McCarthy and President Biden on Saturday, which house leaders are formally referring to as the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023, aims to reduce domestic spending to levels seen in the fiscal year 2022 while capping growth in top-line federal spending at 1 percent over the ensuing six years. "It’s not entirely clear we got anything,” Sen. Vance said.

Pride Month pushback: Conservatives target corporations over woke merch

Valerie Richardson, Washington Times
It’s not even June, and yet corporate America is already reeling from an unprecedented conservative backlash over the annual Pride Month celebration. The changing climate on gender issues caught the nation’s marketing gurus by surprise, as evidenced by the recent consumer takedowns of Bud Light and Target; the flip-flopping over drag queens by the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the outcry over male models in Adidas women’s swimwear. Much of that shift can be attributed to the rise of the “T” (transgender) in LGBTQ.

Are We Aztecs? Understanding the Transgender Epidemic

Roger L. Simon, The Epoch Times
Devotees of transgenderism would have us believe that what they are doing is improving the condition of our young people who have issues with their sexuality, almost everyone does developmentally at one time or another. These are often experts with medical degrees and doctorates who inform us of the good they are doing. It was the elites of Aztec, Toltec, and Mayan cultures—advanced for their day—who were determining which children and adults would be chosen for sacrifice. The transgender epidemic may signal our own demise.

Kevin McCarthy: Wasteful Government Doesn’t Have to Keep Growing

Kevin McCarthy, Wall Street Journal
We need to change how Washington operates. That is what House Republicans have fought for since Jan. 12 All in all, the Fiscal Responsibility Act is truly worthy of the American people. It does what is responsible for our children, what is possible in divided government, and what is required by our principles and promises. Only because of Republicans’ resolve did we achieve this transformative change to how Washington operates. We are 141 days into this Republican majority, and we’re only getting started.

Regime Apparatchiks and Sadists Inflict Their Punishments

Julie Kelly, American Greatness
Armed with history-making criminal convictions and prison sentences, Graves is quickly ascending the ladder that leads to the attorney general’s office. Rich rewards, either at the DOJ or private law firm, await. Neither man has shown an ounce of compassion for the defendants or their families. To the contrary, the government goose steppers responsible for systematically destroying the lives of Americans who dared to protest Joe Biden’s election appear sickeningly gratified by the exercise—as all good Marxists are.

DeSantis guarantees GOP will win in 2024 if he is White House nominee: 'No excuses'

W. James Antle III, Washington Examiner
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis guaranteed Republicans victory in 2024 if he is the nominee. “The pledge I’ll make for people is simply this,” DeSantis said. “We need to win again as Republicans. We gotta dispense with this culture of losing. And if you nominate me, I pledge to you that on Jan. 20, 2025, at high noon, that I’ll be the guy in the west side of the Capitol with the left hand on the Bible and the right hand in the air taking the oath of office as the 47th president of the United States. No more excuses.”

How The Primaries Will Go

Kurt Schlichter, Townhall
This is not about 2020; it’s about 2024 and not letting these perverts groom our kids. We will know in a few months if the GOP base is going to hand Trump the baton or a gold watch. We will see DeSantis’s numbers rise, or they will stall, and we will know how this is going to go. If Trump is winning, look for the enemy to redouble its efforts to frame him to ensure he does not win in November. If Trump is losing, look for him finding a face-saving way to drop out of the race. Regardless, buckle up.

Nuclear Energy Renaissance Emerges as Counterbalance to Democrats’ ‘Green New Deal’

Just the News (Addison Smith), The Star News Network
Alternative clean energy plans to the Democrats’ Green New Deal are getting a boost from a new generation of nuclear energy technology, which can produce zero-carbon emission electricity with a much smaller footprint than earlier reactors. The innovations and advances of the nuclear power industry are gaining favor from Europe and Asia to America, transforming a debate that has been dominated by solar and wind development. Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, R-Iowa, said nuclear has “come back into the forefront”.

It Was Always Only About Power With the Left

Victor Davis Hanson, American Greatness
Calls for radical equity, “power for the people,” and mandated equality are usually mostly sloganeering for those who enjoy power and the lucre it brings, and their wish is to augment both for themselves. The result is that the issue du jour of mandated equality often becomes secondary if not irrelevant. There is neither fear of inconstancy nor hypocrisy, given the central theme that governs a leftist party line is political utility—or the ends of power always more than justify the hypocritical means used to obtain it.

Contrary to Post–Jan 6. Claims, the Military Does Not Overflow With Extremist Nuts

Daniel J. Flynn, The American Spectator
The implication that detonating a truck bomb at a federal building and putting a MAGA hat on a Gerald Ford statue in the Capitol amount to more or less the same thing shows that projection fuels the narrative about extremism. The lack of self-awareness goes beyond this. For all of American history until the last decade or so, fixations on what others believe to the point of advocating government monitoring, reeducating, and punishing based on the ideas inside one’s head itself represented extremist behavior.

DeSantis Dives Into the Muck

Scott McKay, The American Spectator
DeSantis is going to be viciously, relentlessly slimed for the next year, or however long he’s a presidential candidate. And if he isn’t the GOP nominee, and the odds are that he won’t be, given Trump’s current lead in the polls, the same people smearing him will claim victory of a permanent kind; they’re going to say his political career is over and that he’s been destroyed. Of course, nobody is more aggressive in assaulting DeSantis than Trump. If he can survive it, he might become one of the greats.

Mark Levin: DeSantis a ‘movement conservative,’ Trump ‘common sense’

Paul Bedard, Washington Examiner
Leave it to legendary liberty promoter Mark Levin to cut to the chase and tell conservatives which lanes Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and former President Donald Trump have in the 2024 GOP primaries. “I would argue you're a movement conservative,” he told DeSantis, who granted “the great one” the first radio interview after announcing his presidential bid on Twitter on Wednesday. “I think Trump has more sort of a commonsense” conservative approach, added Levin, a friend of both Republican challengers.

New Poll Finds Trump with Significant Lead Over DeSantis Among Republican Primary Voters

M.D. Kittle, The Star News Network
A new poll from Trump pollster McLaughlin & Associates finds the former president leading Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis by nearly 40 percentage points as the chase for the GOP presidential nomination heats up. The poll shows Trump at 54 percent, and DeSantis with 16 percent support, as the Florida governor kicks off his campaign. DeSantis has seen his support cut in half since January, when 31 percent of Republican primary voters said they would vote for him. Meanwhile, Trump’s numbers have risen 11 percentage points.

The Left Has Pushed the Envelope

Victor Davis Hanson, American Greatness
The Left is waging a full-fledged cultural revolution against traditional America. And the Maoist results are often as absurd as they are terrifying. Example? California is facing a crushing $32 billion deficit. Yet it flirts with an $800 billion-dollar “reparations” payout to the state’s black residents. All these implosions are not just shocking but surreal. Why are our government, corporations, and popular culture colluding in mass suicide—to the delight of our enemies like Communist China?

Reject The Race Hustlers

Kurt Schlichter, Townhall
Don’t do it. Don’t accept it. The conservative position must be the position it has always been. We don’t care where your grandfather came from. We only care what you do. It’s right, it’s smart, and that’s the way it’s going to be because normal people understand the essential unfairness of a racial spoils state. We’re not going to do it. We’re not going to participate, and we don’t care what they call us. We don’t care what they say. We don’t care about their lies. It’s over. We’re done with them.

The FBI and CIA Should Be Abolished, Not Reformed

Roger L. Simon, The Epoch Times
Two words: much smaller. Intelligence agencies by their nature become less efficient as they expand, as do most bureaucracies. We apparently have 17, and computers do most of the work now anyway. But who keeps tabs on some lean version? Congress? I hate internet acronyms, but somehow SMH comes to mind. Perhaps we need a new, second, Supreme Court of sorts (with or without lawyers) specifically tasked with keeping tabs on the new FBI and CIA to ensure they are spying on our adversaries and not us.

Donald Trump and the CNN Caper

Daniel Oliver, American Greatness
Whoever the Republican nominee is, he will be treated by the media the way Richard Nixon and Donald Trump were treated. That would be true even if the Republicans nominated Grandma Moses to run with Mother Teresa. The primary system will show us if there’s any Republican who’s even tougher than Trump. If so, let him run and wish him well. But the CNN-Trump event was a preview of what we can expect if Trump is the nominee. Take no prisoners. Shoot the wounded. Win. America may be ready for that again.

Joe Biden Keeps Lying That His Son Died in Iraq

Daniel J. Flynn, The American Spectator
Saying he lies about his deceased son misleads. He lies about an assortment of his dead relatives. Joe Biden, losing a wife and children, certainly dealt with an unfair share of tragedy in his life. People grieve in different ways. But carting out dead relatives to gain sympathy with voters by embellishing their manner of death amounts to not a mode of grief but exploitation. WWGWD? — What would George Washington do — makes for a good guide for politicians. WWGSD? — What would George Santos do — makes for a bad one.

Los Angeles Dodgers Apologize and Reinvite Drag ‘Nuns’ Group as ‘Pride Night’ Honoree

Susan Berry, PhD, The Star News Network
The Los Angeles Dodgers apologized to and reinvited the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a radical anti-Catholic group that defiles the Catholic faith, to be honored at the team’s game night “pride” event. The move by the Dodgers’ organization to reinvite the blasphemous group of self-described “queer and trans nuns” comes following backlash from radical LGBTQ activists and their political allies. CatholicVote responded to the Dodgers’ cave: The @Dodgers have instantly become the @budlight of baseball.

These Aren’t Tommy Lasorda’s Dodgers

Matthew Hennessey, Wall Street Journal
The O’Malley family owned the Dodgers from 1947-97. They were known for doing things the “Dodger Way.” That meant professionalism and class, on and off the field. Vin Scully, the team’s longtime radio announcer, personified the Dodger Way. So did Jackie Robinson, Duke Snider, Gil Hodges, Sandy Koufax, Steve Garvey, Orel Hershiser, Mike Piazza, Andre Ethier and Tommy Lasorda. The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence aren’t classy. They’re obnoxious and gross. They don’t belong in the Dodger lineup.

Most Americans Don’t Know What ESG Is and Have No Opinion About It – But, Would Rather Invest Purely for Profit

Craig Bannister, MRCTV.org
By denying investment and capital to companies and industries they oppose politically, ESG-activist fund managers exert political influence. Still, most Americans are unaware of how ESG might be affecting them. Slightly more than a third (37%) of adults are at least “somewhat familiar” with ESG, Gallup reports. Meanwhile, 62% aren’t familiar with it, including 40% who know nothing about ESG. Six in ten (59%) have “no opinion” of ESG, while the opinions of those who do are evenly split between positive and negative views.

‘Woke’ Behind the Scenes, Fox News No Longer Worth Watching

Roger L. Simon, The Epoch Times
Were we being gulled all along by Fox management? Though not 100 percent sure, I suspect not. I think the change came, in Hemingway’s words again, “gradually,” when Rupert Murdoch began his recession to retirement and left things to his sons who apparently wanted to be popular at Manhattan cocktail parties. I believe Rupert’s personal disdain for Donald Trump also factors in. Nevertheless, you don’t have to boycott Fox. It’s not a beer. And there’s nothing much worth watching there anymore anyway.

Why Is Everyone Protecting Ray Epps?

Julie Kelly, American Greatness
“Epps has never been indicted or arrested for his activities on January 5 and 6. This is despite the fact that Epps is the only Jan. 6 demonstrator who publicly (multiple times, actually) urged protestors on video to enter the Capitol on Jan. 6. Epps played a direct role in instigating the first breach on the west side. Ray Epps is seen on video recordings all over the West plaza and grounds of the U.S. Capitol and often within a short distance from Dominic Pezzola on Jan. 6.” When will he be forced to take the stand?

The Fraudulent Disney–DeSantis Narrative

Scott McKay, The American Spectator
Former President Donald Trump’s just doing what he does. You can find merit in it, or not. But nobody ought to credit this garbage about Disney “winning” against DeSantis. He might not be the GOP’s 2024 nominee; in fact, his pre-launch campaign for the presidency has been pretty underwhelming. But he’s doing a whole lot better than Bob Iger, and his state is in a lot better shape than Disney. As for the NAACP? It’s about as obsolete as Song of the South these days, and it proved as much on Monday.

84% of Voters Want TikTok Either Restricted or Banned Outright Due to Privacy, Security Concerns

Craig Bannister, MRCTV.org
More than a third (35%) of registered voters want the use of TikTok banned in the U.S. “on the grounds of privacy and security concerns,” the national survey, conducted May 17-18, reveals. Another third (33%) of voters want TikTok banned, unless “the application undergoes regular security reviews of its code base,” while one in six say it should be allowed only if the app’s Chinese owners sell their stakes in it. Just 16% think the use of TikTok in the U.S. should continue to be allowed without any conditions.

Explosion of AP climate change stories following $8 million environmental grant

Paul Bedard, Washington Examiner
In the year following a grant of more than $8 million to the Associated Press from key climate change advocates, the news service has poured out at least 64 stories warning of environmental calamity, according to a new media study. Media Research Center Business charted the stories and language used following the multimillion-dollar grant and found that AP also used over 500 environmental extremism buzzwords in the stories. AP said it would hire 20 new environmental writers with the money to create a climate swat team.

#ForcetheDebate: Demands for Democrat Primary Debates Gain Momentum

Ben Bartee, PJ Media
In a disgusting subversion of true democracy, the DNC has indicated that it has no plans to hold any debates in the ongoing primary for the party’s presidential nomination. The blue-no-matter-who party faithful — perhaps 25% of the electorate or so — can be counted on to show up for Brandon (or Kamala, or Newsom, or whatever anointed puppet) no matter what. But slapping the voters in the face by canceling all debates — not to mention whatever other dirty tactics they employ — isn’t going to go over well.

Medical School Professor Exposed as Urging Parents to Adopt Gender Ideology ‘At Birth or Even Before’

Susan Berry, PhD, The Star News Network
A video has surfaced in which Albert Einstein College of Medicine Assistant Professor Dr. Lauren Roth is heard telling an interviewer that parents must adopt gender ideology even before their baby is born because young children can be “gender expansive,” meaning they “may not necessarily follow the social norms of gender.” The video, found by Fox News, actually aired in June 2021, during “pride month” of that year, and only garnered 209 views since that time. Roth appeared as a guest on OPEN Tuesday at BronxNet.

Thousands of Non-Citizens Are Listed on U.S. Voter Rolls, Watchdog Warns

Just the News (Natalia Mittelstadt), The Star News Network
Tens of thousands of non-citizens have tried or made it onto voter rolls across the U.S. over recent years, according to an election watchdog’s analysis of data from several states. Non-citizen voters have been found on voter rolls in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas and Maricopa County, Arizona. In Georgia, there were non-citizens who attempted to register to vote but were placed in a pending status because there wasn’t evidence of their citizenship, so they didn’t make it onto the voter rolls.

PAC to ‘Draft’ Tucker Carlson for President in 2024 Launches

Jack Phillips, The Epoch Times
The so-called “Draft Tucker Carlson” PAC released an ad, saying: “Republicans need a new leader that can stand up to Biden. It’s time to draft Tucker Carlson.” Shortly after Carlson was ousted, the Draft Tucker PAC filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission (FEC). “Republicans need a new leader, and Tucker Carlson is ready to lead,” the ad states, comparing Carlson to the late radio host Rush Limbaugh. “No one in America is more articulate and pins down leftists in both parties better than Tucker.”

The Absurdities of Our Age

Victor Davis Hanson, American Greatness
A sign of a civilization in headlong decline is its embrace of absurdities. Unfortunately for the United States, we are witnessing an epidemic of nihilist nonsense. We will keep up borrowing and printing bread-and-circus money until, like the late imperial Rome, there is finally no money for the upkeep of infrastructure, domestic law and order, and deterrence against foreign enemies. Then what cannot go on, will not go on and all the absurdities of the present will end with a bang not a whimper.

The GOP’s Festival of Losers

Kurt Schlichter, Townhall
The GOP’s decision in 2024 is solely over the identity of the general who will take command. Will it be the cold, calculating, ruthlessly effective RDS, or the unstoppable juggernaut – well, except for ridiculous tangents to call Rosie O’Donnell “Horseface” –that is Donald Trump? This race is about winning and only about winning. And that’s why Christie, Pence, and Scott won’t really be in the race even after they get into it. It’s Ron or Don, and I’m voting for whichever one wins the nomination.

The New York Times Discovers Congressional Ethics

David Catron, The American Spectator
Those of us who regularly read the New York Times, so you don’t have to, regard the chore as a patriotic duty. It’s important to stay up-to-date on all the propaganda fit to print. And sometimes it’s good for a laugh. The pompous moralizing of the Times editorial board has nothing to do with ethics. What really worries them is that Santos is behaving like a Democrat and the GOP leadership is counting votes instead of caving. How do we know it’s a good strategy? Mitt Romney wants Santos to resign.

Bud Light to Buy Back Unsold Expired Beer As Sales Continue to Tank

Brittany M. Hughes, MRCTV.org
It’s been nearly two months since an ill-fated partnership with a dude who dresses like a little girl caused Bud Light’s public image – and financial portfolio – to drop like a boat anchor. According to reports, Bud Light’s parent company, Anhueser-Busch, is planning to buy back expired beer that’s sat on shelves untouched in the weeks following the fiasco, all while the company rolls out a new re-branding campaign that seeks to partner Bud Light’s image with Anhueser-Bush’s support of a veterans organization.

Look Ahead, Not Backwards, to Hold the Justice Department Accountable

Julie Kelly, American Greatness
Graves, Wray, and Garland should be put on notice that budget cuts, not boosts, are headed their way next year. A proposal to construct a massive new FBI headquarters outside of D.C. should be scuttled immediately. And the FBI’s Washington Field Office, irredeemably corrupt and politicized as the Durham report once again demonstrated, should be shuttered for good. The minimal tools to embarrass top officials and expose the existing rot within the DOJ are in the hands of House Republicans.

John Durham Gave Americans Something as Important as Justice

Daniel J. Flynn, The American Spectator
Durham’s report charges that a “lack of analytical rigor, apparent confirmation bias, and an over-willingness to rely on information from individuals connected to political opponents caused investigators to fail to adequately consider alternative hypotheses and to act without appropriate objectivity or restraint in pursuing allegations of collusion or conspiracy between a U.S. political campaign and a foreign power..." John Durham failed to give voters justice. He did give to history the truth.

Durham on Comey’s Culpability

Kimberley Strassel, Wall Street Journal
The Trump probe was run by the “seventh floor”—by two men who were thrilled to be playing political kingmakers, and who broke all the rules. Some are responding to the Durham report with calls to dismantle the FBI. But the report shows the rank and file doing exactly what the FBI is supposed to do—question, verify. The fault rests with an arrogant leadership that discarded the usual layers of oversight—a seventh floor that took charge with no regard for rules, little care for the truth, and no accountability.

Post-Durham Report, Is It Time for GOP Candidates to Stop Campaigning and Support Trump?

Roger L. Simon, The Epoch Times
This might not be the time for the Republican Party to indulge in the luxury of an internal primary fight that often can be damaging. The moment may have come for Donald Trump’s competition to suspend their campaigns in favor of the former president. When I say suspend, that’s exactly what I mean—take a pause, given the gravity of the situation. They can resume their campaigns if things change. The symbolism of the suspension would be powerful to the American public. The unity would be impressive.

Sen. Tim Scott Set To Announce Presidential Campaign

Philip Wegmann, Real Clear Politics
When Sen. Tim Scott announces his candidacy for president, the South Carolina Republican will try something slightly unusual: He will sell voters on a vision of hope and national reconciliation, rather than the populist grievance currently fueling his competition at the top of the polls. The party looked to Scott, an eloquent orator and the only Black Republican in the Senate, to offer their rebuttal to President Biden’s first address to Congress. The question is whether a primary electorate wants the message.

Marsha Blackburn, Ted Cruz probe Bud Light’s Dylan Mulvaney ad for targeting underage drinkers

Valerie Richardson, The Washington Times
Republican Sens. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee and Ted Cruz of Texas opened an investigation into whether Anheuser-Busch, Bud Light’s parent company, violated Beer Institute guidelines against underage advertising based on its partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. The senators said the evidence “overwhelmingly shows that Dylan Mulvaney’s audience skews significantly younger than the legal drinking age and violates the Beer Institute’s Advertising/Marketing Code and Buying Guidelines.”

Dylan Mulvaney Offers Companies Exit Plan From Woke Stronghold

DeRoy Murdock, The American Spectator
Bud Light’s Dylan Mulvaney blunder should stiffen the gelatinous spines of today’s CEOs. En masse, they should tell the Big Three Colluders, HRC, and other left-wing activists: “Thanks, but no thanks. We see what you did to Anheuser-Busch. We’ll make you a deal: We’ll leave the protests and outrage to you, and you leave the consumer brand management to us. Now get out of our offices and leave us alone, so we can return to producing beer and other products and services that consumers actually want."

Rep. Jim Jordan Says Congress Must Target FBI’s Budget in Wake of Durham Report

Caden Pearson, The Epoch Times
Jordan said that Hillary Clinton’s campaign collaborated with the FBI in 2016 to target Trump, while in 2020, 51 former CIA agents and intelligence officials worked with Joe Biden’s campaign to achieve the same objective. Jordan emphasized that in both instances, the aim was to target Donald Trump. “So we’ve seen it twice—one it was the FBI, the second one it was former intel officials—but [with] the same objective: to go after President Trump and keep him from being president,” Jordan told “Hannity.”

Joe Biden, the Habitual Racialist Demagogue

Victor Davis Hanson, American Greatness
If “white supremacy” was our “greatest” terrorist threat, surely crime statistics would reveal such an existential peril. Yet federal hate- and interracial-crime data show that so-called whites are considerably unrepresented demographically in such racially motivated violence. Far from galvanizing the public, Biden’s monotonous racial demagoguery is turning it off. Only 37 percent of independents in a recent poll now support Biden. Some 70 percent of the public in other polls opposes a second Joe Biden run.

Florida Fifth-Grade Teacher Scolds Parents: ‘Your Rights Are Gone When Your Child Is In the Public School System’

Susan Berry, PhD, The Star News Network
Journalist and Grabien founder Tom Elliott tweeted a clip of CNN’s interview Monday night with Jenna Barbee, a fifth-grade teacher at Winding Waters School, a K-8 school in the Hernando County district, who is under investigation over possible violation of Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law, recently expanded to prohibit classroom instruction in sexual orientation and gender identity in all grades from K-12, rather than only K-3. Barbee claimed that parents who complained about her are “ignorant.”

Dodgers scratch award for drag queens dressed like nuns after Catholic backlash

Valerie Richardson, The Washington Times
The team announced earlier this month that it would present its “Community Hero Award” to the L.A. chapter of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a self-described “order of queer and trans nuns” founded in San Francisco in 1979. The about-face came after CatholicVote, the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio sent letters to Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred asking him to square the decision with his previous vow to “keep ourselves as apolitical as possible.”

Reject the Normalcy Bias

Kurt Schlichter, Townhall
Conservatives are conservative by nature. They don’t like change in the sense that they prefer the traditional ways of doing things, though a real conservative today must demand change – change back. Conservatives understand that the traditions of freedom and liberty and limited government are the basis of a free society. And the institutions used to be part of that. They used to be essential elements of that, but they aren’t anymore. They are an enemy of freedom and liberty and limited government.

Taylor-Greene Submits Impeachment Articles Against D.C. U.S. Attorney

Julie Kelly, American Greatness
Rep. Taylor-Greene: “Instead of preventing prosecuting these crimes, Graves’s office has hired more attorneys solely to prosecute more than 1,000 individuals who have been arrested for political protest or touring the U.S. Capitol. United States Attorney Graves has perversely and unconstitutionally sought lengthy pretrial detention for dozens of these political opponents, including individuals not accused of committing any violence. In doing so, Graves is systematically criminalizing political dissent.”

Should We Send the Military to Counter the Mexican Drug Cartels?

Scott McKay, The American Spectator
Perhaps it isn’t a good idea. Maybe it’s better to park the U.S. Army on the border, declare everything from Brownsville to Tijuana a military exclusion zone, shut down the ports of entry and everything between them, and simply end all traffic of people and goods unless it carries specific authorization from guys with little U.S. flag patches on their shoulders. There is a plan out there that will eliminate the mess on that border. The problem is that the regime in power isn’t interested in anything like that plan.

Rubio Publishes Vast COVID-19 Report: ‘Beijing Hid the Truth’

Philip Wegmann, Real Clear Politics
A new exhaustive study, which took two years to complete and includes vast translations of original source material, reaches a troubling, verdict: They knew. The document paints a picture of a Chinese Communist Party so eager to make advancements in bioscientific research that officials in Beijing willfully and repeatedly ignored known safety shortcomings at the Wuhan Institute of Virology as early as July 2019. Then, once the pandemic that would eventually kill 7 million people started, they launched a “cover-up.”

When Trump-Russia wiretap was 'dry hole,' FBI wouldn't stop digging

Byron York, Washington Examiner
Not only did the FBI abuse the wiretap process — and being wrongly wiretapped by the government is a pretty fundamental violation of an American's rights — the investigators did not get any hot information from doing so. The Page wiretap episode was representative of the Trump-Russia investigation as a whole. Despite all the headlines and crazy talk and despite the BS from Steele, investigators knew pretty early on, certainly in 2017, that they could not establish that collusion took place. Yet they kept pushing.

The Green Movement Is a Jobs Killer. Are Unions Finally Figuring This Out?

Steven Moore, The Epoch Times
This isn’t complicated. The leftists’ religious pursuit of “zero emissions” leads to a green holy land with no smokestacks, no power plants, no cars, no trucks, no steel mills, copper mines, pipelines, gas stoves, air conditioners, airplanes, nuclear plants, washers and dryers, pesticides, plastics, or cows and other livestock. And as we sprint to a new post-industrial-age America, there's no need for blue-collar unionized workers. The green “degrowth” movement is about putting union workers on unemployment lines.

LA Dodgers Blasted For Giving 'Community Hero' Award To the 'Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence'

Brittany M. Hughes, MRCTV.org
The Los Angeles Dodgers are facing well-deserved heat for honoring a group of transgender activists who dress as satanic nuns with the team's “Community Hero Award” at an upcoming "Pride" event. And yes, this is a real thing. Well, the nuns aren't real. They’re transgender “women” – i.e., disturbed biological men – who call themselves the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence,” a group of "queer and trans nuns” who show up to events in mock Catholic attire to stump for abortion and all manner of LGBTQ debauchery.

Does John Durham’s ‘Strongly Worded Letter’ Make You Feel Better?

Scott McKay, The American Spectator
A saner America would be prosecuting these people for everything under the sun. A saner America would have them in jail without bail because they’d be safer in prison than among the tar-and-feathers-bearing population. And a saner America would be making structural changes to destroy cancerous institutions capable of this kind of rot — as in, breaking the FBI into its component parts and scattering some of them about the government while unloading most of its functions back to the states, where they belong.

Hang All the Members of the Liars’ Club?

Victor Davis Hanson, American Greatness
As a general rule, since 2015, if any federal bureaucrat or elected official lied in service of opposing Donald Trump, he was exempted from consequences. If not, he was properly held responsible for his lying. So, yes, let federal prosecutors go after the lying George Santos to set a precedent that the lying of government officials has consequences. But in the great scheme of lying things, Santos is a prevaricating minnow who was snagged to great acclaim because the lying sharks swim and circle with impunity.

Transwoman Becomes Sports Illustrated's Latest Swimsuit Edition Cover Model

Brittany M. Hughes, MRCTV.org
Having apparently run out of viable women to feature bikini-clad on the front cover of their magazine, Sports Illustrated is showcasing a biological man on the 2023 famous swimsuit edition cover. And he’s not exactly modeling board shorts. Kim Petras, a male who believes he’s a female and who has spent exorbitant amounts of money making himself appear as feminine as possible, is the latest celeb to grace the front of the iconic magazine sporting gobs of makeup and a gold bedazzled bikini top over fake breasts.

Ron DeSantis Rips Right-Wing ‘Corporatists’ in Call to Crack Down on Big Business

Admin (Harold Hutchison), The Star News Network
Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida fired back at Republican critics (Nikki Haley, Donald Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy) of his efforts to rein in big businesses, calling them “corporatists.” “What is a free market? Does an absence of government necessarily mean free market?” DeSantis asked during an interview with The American Conservative. “I would say, sometimes, absence of government could just devolve into corporatism, and I think too many people on the right have basically been corporatists over the years.”

Pence Allies Launching Super PAC to Fund Anticipated 2024 Bid

Katabella Roberts, The Epoch Times
Allies of former Vice President Mike Pence are launching a new super PAC backing him as a 2024 presidential candidate, officials have confirmed. Known as “Committed to America,” the PAC will be co-chaired by former Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas) and longtime Republican strategist Scott Reed, who ran former Kansas Sen. Bob Dole’s 1996 presidential campaign, according to reports. “Mike Pence is the conservative leader our nation needs at this critical time,” Hensarling said in a statement to multiple media publications.

Republican presidential hopefuls keep voters guessing on abortion issue

Tom Howell, Jr., The Washington Times
Abortion is poised to be a major issue in the 2024 campaign. Liberals were furious over a Supreme Court decision last year that overturned the nationwide right to abortion. Democrats used it as an effective weapon against GOP candidates in the midterm elections. Three conservative justices appointed by Mr. Trump and confirmed by Republican senators played a decisive role in the 2022 ruling. Political analysts said the abortion topic is a dicey one for the candidates because there is a range of stances they could take.

Time for Republicans to Confront January 6 Lead Prosecutor

Julie Kelly, American Greatness
Rather than press D.C. officials responsible for the lawlessness rampant in their city Republicans should instead use their time to confront Graves about his selective prosecution of January 6 defendants and force him to account for his actions publicly. The Biden regime’s double standard of justice runs directly through Graves’ office. Four months after taking control of the House, Republicans are overdue in holding Biden officials accountable for the most political and vengeful use of the DOJ in history.

The Democrat Plan to Pump and Dump Trump

David Catron, The American Spectator
The result of the Democrats' strategy will be a repeat of 2016. The Democrats and the corporate media tried to pump and dump Trump during that election as well. They assured he would win the Republican nomination by gifting him billions of dollars in earned media coverage, blithely assuming that Hillary Clinton would easily defeat him in the general election. Now they’re repeating that error, assuming an impaired incumbent can defeat him in the midst of a recession. These people really are slow learners.

Historian Makes Huge Prediction for 2024

Matt Margolis, PJ Media
You can take this with a grain of salt, but according to Niall Ferguson, a historian, there is a strong possibility that former Donald Trump will emerge the victor in the 2024 presidential election. In an op-ed for The Spectator, Ferguson argued that “A second Trump act is not just possible. It’s fast becoming my base case.” “The lesson of history is clear,” Ferguson writes. “The Republican frontrunner usually wins the nomination, and a post-recession incumbent usually loses the presidential election.”

Ramaswamy’s New Idea on the Voting Age Merits Consideration

Roger L. Simon, The Epoch Times
I am heartened by the candidacies of both Vivek Ramaswamy and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. They have ideas. This should also remind us in this campaign season that there is more to be gleaned than who is up in today’s polls and who ultimately wins and loses. Further, with Trump lapping the field at this moment, it’s still worth paying attention to the other candidates for those ideas and for the possibility that they will fulfill other roles in our government, even if they don’t reach the presidency this time.

Dishwashers Join Growing List of Home Appliances Targeted by Biden Climate Warriors

Just the News (Addison Smith), The Star News Network
Joe Biden’s Department of Energy announced “Congressionally-mandated proposed standards” for household dishwashers. In announcing the proposed dishwasher restrictions, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said the Biden administration is “using all of the tools” available to “reduce carbon pollution and combat the climate crisis.” The standards are just the latest in a series of proposed “climate-friendly” regulations on technology products and industries throughout America, increasingly including home appliances.

Let the Blue Cities Die

Kurt Schlichter, Townhall
Let’s get the idea of helping the blue cities out of our heads, though. There is no helping those who will not help themselves. They vote for these people. They choose this. Let them backstroke through the cesspool of their own creation. Our first job is containment. We need to keep the cancer from spreading. We do that by holding the blue cities up as the alternative to us in all their stinking glory. Then, wherever we have sufficient political power, we must strangle the cities. Money funds this all, our money.

Biden’s CIA Assist in the 2020 Presidential Election

Kimberley Strassel, Wall Street Journal
Such reckless disregard for rules raises the legitimate question of what other ways the CIA may have been tilting the political scales in 2020. Predictably, the agency is ignoring a request by the committees for documents related to the board’s clearance of the letter and any interactions it had with former employees (like Mr. Cariens) about the letter. There’s no excuse for such stonewalling, especially given the board itself has declared the whole issue nonclassified. The intel agencies can’t have it both ways.

Cancel Chevron, Not Disney

Steven Greenhut, The American Spectator
The progressive project is largely about creating a massive administrative state by which government experts can advance the public good as they see fit. Traditionally, the pre-populist conservative project has been about protecting the rights of individuals — and ensuring that the government stays within its bounds. If you want to stop progressivism, you need to limit the power of government agencies and uphold the rights of individuals. The U.S. Supreme Court’s willingness to accept review of Chevron is good news.

69% of Voters Call Biden Influence-Peddling Charges ‘Serious Scandal’ - ABC, CBS, NBC Give 0 Seconds to Breaking News

Craig Bannister, CNS News
Fully 69% of U.S. likely voters say accusations of foreign influence-peddling by President Joe Biden and his family are a serious scandal – but, ABC, NBC and CBS didn’t spend even one second reporting on breaking news Wednesday when Rep. James Comer (R-KY) detailed how the Biden family may have received more than $10 million from foreign nationals. Two-thirds (66%) also agree with Rep. Comer’s claim that the scandal is about the entire Biden family, including the president, with half (51%) strongly agreeing.

DeSantis Softly Jabs at Trump During Iowa Stop, Severe Weather Forces Cancelation of Trump’s Hawkeye State Rally

M.D. Kittle, The Star News Network
Former President Donald Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis were scheduled to make separate campaign stops in Iowa Saturday. DeSantis flipped burgers and chops at a picnic fundraiser in western Iowa before heading to a state GOP fundraiser Saturday evening on the other side of the state. Severe weather — including tornados — forced the cancelation of Trump’s outdoor rally late Saturday afternoon in Des Moines. It would have marked the first time Trump and DeSantis campaigned in the first-in-the-nation caucus state on the same day.

What the Trump Town Hall Reveals About CNN

Roger L. Simon, The Epoch Times
CNN, which apparently had originally scheduled its Donald Trump town hall event to go for as long as 90 minutes, cut the event at less than 70 minutes as if terrified the 45th president might be reelected right there by proclamation. That wasn’t exactly what the network had in mind. Their host—who evidently saw her role more as a debater than as a moderator—walked straight into a Trumpian buzzsaw when the former president dubbed her a “nasty woman” to the obvious chortling approval of the St. Anselm College audience.

Stop Enabling Bloodshed in Ukraine

Doug Bandow, The American Conservative
Supporting the war until Ukraine retakes territory lost not only last year but in 2014, risks Ukrainian exhaustion and deadlock or defeat. Kiev is entitled to decide how long it wants to fight, as the U.S. insists. But Washington should not encourage, let alone empower, Ukraine to fruitlessly battle on, no matter how valiantly. Prolonging the war risks expansion and escalation involving the U.S. Policymakers should use the war to advance broader U.S. objectives, most importantly shifting responsibility for Europe’s defense to Europe.

Cancel Culture Comes for Mac Warner, One of the Best Secretaries of State in the Nation

J. Christian Adams, PJ Media
The attacks on Warner are part of a larger movement to stop the free exchange of ideas. Nowhere is this movement more focused than on ending debates and discussions about our elections. If you post something about elections on social media, just wait for the disclaimer message saying this may be misinformation or for the platforms to outright remove the content. It used to be that Americans believed in free speech and the exchange of ideas. Big tech and their allies in the media don’t seem to believe in it anymore.

Trump Lays out 2024 Policy Agenda at CNN Town Hall

Mimi Nguyen Ly, The Epoch Times
Former President Donald Trump, the current frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024, shared what he’d do if he is reelected in 2024 to address what his campaign calls the “Biden decline” currently taking place in the United States. Republicans and undeclared voters were at the event, held at Saint Anselm College (New Hampshire). It marked Trump’s first appearance on CNN since before he became president in 2016, and was also the first major televised event of the 2024 presidential campaign.

Weaponizing Death

Victor Davis Hanson, American Greatness
Recently there has been a spate of horrific murders. The killers, whether committing mass shootings or single homicides, are hard to stereotype. Death is traumatic enough, without searching for ways to gain political traction from it. It is eerie how each tragedy prompts a desperate effort to spin narratives of a racist America, where only right-wing killers and vigilantes prey on marginalized people of color and the transgendered. Once these fables become “facts,” then the media runs with their fables.

GOP Presidential Candidates Weigh in on Comer Committee’s Records Uncovering Possible Biden Family Corruption

M.D. Kittle, The Star News Network
Back in the Hawkeye State this week for multi-day campaign tours, Republican presidential hopefuls Vivek Ramaswamy and Nikki Haley commented on House Republican committee findings tying the Biden family’s fortunes to suspect foreign entities in China and Romania. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer on Wednesday addressed bank records that show payments made to companies connected to President Joe Biden’s troubled son, Hunter. Comer’s committee obtained the records through a subpoena.

Does No-Whites-Allowed Reparations Task Force Represent a Conflict of Interest?

Daniel J. Flynn, The American Spectator
It feels like a corruption of purpose just as interested parties voting themselves wealth conjures up corruption in a self-dealing sense. Nobody ever legally enslaved another human being in the history of California. At a price tag estimated at $800 billion, reparations necessarily require Californians who never owned slaves to, on average, work until meeting a $20,000 threshold for other Californians who never endured slavery. Whether or not that adds up to social justice, it certainly does not amount to justice.

When Words Stop Meaning Anything

Kurt Schlichter, Townhall
These people are evil. The wise American understands this now and understands that everything the left says is a lie and a scam. Communists’ words mean nothing. One day, they scream about democracy, and the next day they scream about taking away your right to speak freely, and seek to disenfranchise normal people from exercising any kind of self-governance. Orwell understood this, but even he would be impressed by the sheer shamelessness of it today. What’s the solution? Stop caring about what they say.

Fox News Fails With McEnany in Tucker's Old Slot While Carlson Teases His Launch

Lincoln Brown, PJ Media
Tucker fans have a reason to rejoice. As the poet once said, “Don’t call it a comeback/ I’m gonna knock you out.” Yep, Carlson shall return. Now we know what those conversations with Elon Musk were all about. The beauty of this move is that because Twitter is a social media platform, Tucker is pretty much free to do as he wishes, no matter what the Fox brass has to say about it. Besides, those guys have their hands full right now. Tucker will go back to doing what he does best. Fox News will continue to tap dance.

CIA Solicited Signatures For Hunter Biden Laptop Letter, Congressional Testimony Shows

Sean Davis, The Federalist
Polls taken since the 2020 election show that the coordinated efforts between U.S. intelligence agencies and social media tech companies may have even tipped the election to Biden by censoring the Hunter Biden laptop story and preventing voters from knowing the truth about the emerging Biden corruption scandal. A 2022 poll by TIPP Insights found that 47 percent of those polled said knowing the laptop contents were real and not Russian disinformation likely would have changed their votes in the election.

‘My Children Are All Queer’

Scott McKay, The American Spectator
We gave pop culture and entertainment media such a prominent role in our society precisely because in a former era it reflected our values back to us. Increasingly we’re seeking refuge from them. Our celebrity culture is made up of terrible, insane, groundless people marinating in rotten values and personal dysfunction, and our people can’t stand it. It can’t continue without changes. The question, one that will have to be answered soon, is this: Who has the solutions for fixing it? Who will offer an alternative?

'I Want To Be Clear': Musk Responds to Tucker Carlson's New Show Airing on Twitter

Brittany M. Hughes, MRCTV.org
Twitter CEO Elon Musk responded to the announcement that Tucker Carlson will soon begin airing a new program on Musk's Twitter. "On this platform, unlike the one-way street of broadcast, people are able to interact, critique and refute whatever is said. And, of course, anything misleading will get [Community Notes]," Musk wrote in response to Carlson's announcement, referring to Twitter feature allowing other users to tag misleading or false statements with a "community note" that acts as a public fact-check.

Virginia Gov. Youngkin: We Have This Moment Where Every State Is a Border State

The Center Square (Sarah Roderick-Fitch), The Star News Network
Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, in an exclusive interview with The Center Square, had strong words for the Biden administration’s handling of the crisis at the southern border and the lifting of Title 42. Youngkin signed an executive order Tuesday while delivering remarks at Stafford High School in Stafford County, marking National Fentanyl Awareness Day. During his speech, the governor blamed the Biden administration for failing to take action against the flow of the deadly drug across the border.

‘It Was My Father’s First Instinct’ to Believe the CIA Killed JFK: Robert Kennedy Jr.

Ryan Morgan, The Epoch Times
In an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., nephew of the late President John F. Kennedy, recalled the day his uncle was assassinated on Nov. 22, 1963. He said the first call his father, Robert F. Kennedy—who was the U.S. Attorney General at the time—was to a CIA desk-officer in Langley, Virginia, to ask, “Did your people do this?” This is not the first time this week Kennedy, who is now running for president as a Democrat, publicly alleged CIA involvement in his uncle’s assassination.

J6 Jackals Circle Trump

Julie Kelly, American Greatness
The top prosecutor in the country was sending a warning shot to Team Trump. The hyperbole, just like the Justice Department’s continued shameful comparisons between a four-hour disturbance on January 6 to lethal terror attacks such as 9/11, serves a greater purpose, one that the government is closer to achieving—the arrest and prosecution of Donald Trump. And if anyone thinks it’s beyond the pale for this Justice Department to portray Trump as the American version of Osama bin Laden, think again.
